# a love beyond time 🦋

a comforting heaviness  
that pains me in the best way  
when i think about you.  
  
there’s a deep nostalgia that lives in this love.  
  
i feel like we’ve been in this life together before—  
like maybe i was a caterpillar  
and you were already a butterfly  
waiting for me to transform  
and become you  
so that we could become one  
and discover the world—wings high—together.  
  
sometimes i have visions that we were once wanderers  
on another planet…  
searching for a place to call home together.  
we traced constellations  
in the dust of moons  
we’d never visit again.  
  
we discovered galaxies  
that were never meant to be seen—  
imprinting our love in the stars  
and leaving bits and pieces of ourselves  
in our tracks  
just in case we got lost  
and needed to find our way back to each other…  
  
we left so much stardust of ourselves  
that we slowly dissipated.  
  
we were lost… i think we’ve always been lost  
and somehow  
we find home in each other.  
  
and your soul—flawed and fiery—  
always draws me back…  
back to the place  
where love once was just a four letter echo—  
but now it’s the very gravity  
that keeps our worlds aligned.
