So... What's This All About?

I've been blogging for 8 years now and I've tried many different avenues. However, the most peace I've had with doing this was when I had my own website! So... here we are... again. Back at square one – but with more knowledge and my undying love for writing. What's the theme? Life. My slice of heaven online where I blog from the beautiful Louisiana and give you guys my thoughts, observations, and little pieces of the world as I view it – which is why we call this The Bayou House. So many different rooms, decorated by me.

I do this for myself because I love it, but if you're here, too? That still brings a smile to my face. <3
