Inside the Heart of 'Nolaverse' : First Glimpse 🔍
the fictional world of 'nolaverse' is on it's way — here is your first look inside of the fictional stories that will take place in New Orleans — post Katrina.
the newspaper image below below is a completely fictional. some places are real, New Orleans is real and Katrina was very real. However, this is a crime thriller series that I am launching (and have been working on since the beginning of the year) and I am excited to get it off the ground this year! The NOLAVERSE is an interconnected world of crime, scandal, and secrets set in New Orleans and its surrounding parishes. At its heart are two main perspectives: the elite state run investigative unit Louisiana Special Crimes & Intelligence Bureau – Orleans Division (LSCIB-OD) & the complex, drama filled lives of the Wives of Blue. Behind closed doors, the wives of New Orleans’ police officers navigate love, betrayal, and the dangerous secrets tied to their husbands’ work.
Through these juicy and twisted stories — and the in universe news source Vieux Carré Press — readers get an intense and layered view of the city’s power players, hidden agendas, and dangerous undercurrents. 🔎
Vieux Carré Press will be dropping on my Substack — but the stories will be Novellas — yes! Physical books! This gives you an inside look inside what you can expect in the upcoming series… maybe some easter eggs? maybe some tips? you’ll just have to see! I hope you enjoy! & don’t forget to subscribe.

✨ Want in early? Stick around. I’ll be sharing character spotlights, excerpts, and behind thescenes details as we go.
📚 Writers & readers: Feel free to share, but please credit — this world is original and protected.
