Moments in the Coffee Shop

[I wrote this short story two years ago. The below version is the edited version I did this morning. I’ve come a long way with my writing and editing skills and to see it in real time is quite fascinating.

This short story explores the type of sexual tension that you have to experience to fully understand. I hope you enjoy it. ;) ]

The rain came down on me gently as I made my way to the coffee shop at the end of the corner, twirling my umbrella to the rhythm of the butterflies that were flying around in my stomach.

Gray skies, clouds continuing to roll in, and nothing but the sound of my thigh-high boot heels and rain drops hitting the pavement. The gloomy weather was setting the mood for me already and the thoughts in my head were quickly overpowered by the pounding in my ears from my beating heart.

I swear I could feel every vein pumping and every tingle that was going on inside of my body as I approached the coffee shop.

There was a man waiting on me.

I could feel the butterflies in my stomach getting acquainted with each other. They just knew they’d be there for a while.

We locked eyes the moment I lifted my anxious head in an attempt to find him — but he had already found me. Fuck.

The sexual tension was peanut butter thick and I bit my lip to keep my soul suppressed and not lose composure. My senses were heightened in the few moments it took me to arrive at the small table in the back. I swear I could hear the sound of the coffee dripping in the coffee pots.

I blushed uncontrollably as he stared me down, dropping my head and letting my curls fall to mask my rosy cheeks.

There was already coffee waiting on me at the table. I took a seat, crossing my legs to distract myself from the thunderstorm taking place inside my lace panties.

We sat in silence for a moment, taking the time to study each other. The smell of his cologne was doing dances with the scent of the vanilla in my coffee cup. I could see the weight of his gold chain clinging onto his chocolate skin. I imagined that same weight dangling on my chest on my bed back at my room. The very thought gave me chills and I squirmed in my seat as he smirked at me.

He’s getting off on this. He knows exactly what he’s doing. I could see his stroked ego trying to say hello to me through his piercing brown eyes.

He reached over, tracing the side of my hand with his middle finger.

“You alright over there, baby girl?” he said.

My soul immediately vanished, leaving me weak and breathless. Every intense feeling inside me reached its peak.

His energy was running laps around me — consuming my entire being.

Sitting across from this gorgeous man was making my inner thighs sweat — or could it have been the juices that my body produced from simply being in his presence. Either way, I had to make a run for it before I exploded all over this seat leaving behind a puddle of untouched desire.

“I…I’m sorry. I need some fresh air,” I said, bolting towards the door.

The rain was coming down even harder. I walked towards the alley on the side of the building, trying to catch my breath from the adrenaline running through my veins.

I threw my hands over my face as I leaned against the brick wall.

“What the fuck is this man doing to me?” I thought.

Suddenly, I feel his presence. It was so strong, I didn’t even have to look up to notice he was there.

The butterflies in my stomach turned into pterodactyls as he put both hands on the wall behind me, leaning in close — breath slow and heavy.

“Look at me, baby girl.”

“Look… at… me,” he repeated slowly.

I picked my head up, looking into his warm brown eyes as the rain continued to come down.

He put his warm hand underneath my chin, lifting my head to kiss me. My body immediately became alive. The spark was so strong it nearly knocked me on my ass right here in this alley. We moaned in unison as our tongues met each other for the first time.

Slow, wet, heavy motions followed as he lifted me off my feet with one hand and slipped his other inside my pants, sliding my lace panties to the side.

The thrill of possibly being caught by one of the baristas intensified the pulse between my legs that was just as strong as the pounding in my chest.

He pulled back to look me in my eyes and watch my soul leave my body. I moaned louder, biting my lip to balance out the stimulation overload happening as his fingers slipped in and out of the world with endless possibilities.

“Cum for me,” he said, looking to the side making sure we were still alone while simultaneously hitting spots of unmarked territory inside my body.

He was so fucking beautiful.

The way the rain was sensually hitting his chocolate skin — falling peacefully from his thick eyelashes onto his face was doing something to me. Something that I had no words for, but everything about him was perfect.

He readjusted his grip, making me explode like bath bomb.

“Fuck!” I screamed, as my body turned to jello. He smiled deviously, letting me know that he owned me in this moment.

Pleasure juices ran down my leg faster than the rain that was coming down. He took his fingers and ran them slowly across my lip and I opened my mouth to get a taste.

“Damn, that’s good,” I said, biting my lip.

He leaned in to kiss me again. “You’re mine now,” he whispered.
