Stacktober — Join me in 30 days of Writing ✏️

Alright writers. Grab your pens, paper, laptops, and your will to write.

This October, we are hitting the ground running, okay!?

Now — I usually try to shy away from writing challenges only because I know that sometimes I cannot commit to 30 days of making sure I’m focused on my writing, however, I have a little more time on my hands right now and I’m going to use it wisely.

Writing everyday is a wise thing to do, don’t you agree?

So here’s what I’m challenging you guys to do!

Everyday, post a note. Write it like it’s a journal. It doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t have to be short… just write.

On Sundays — make a post.

A weekly Stacktober notes round up.

This is where you can round up all of your notes and make a post about it. Reflect on your week. Allow yourself to feel and be vulnerable.

Why the notes instead of daily posts? I’m so glad you asked.

This is so your archive isn’t filled with these journal posts and you can control how many times your newsletters are going out into inboxes. I’m sure people don’t want their inbox flooded — but you also get to give your readers something to look forward to at the beginning of the week.

This challenge is to help get your creative juices flowing and gives you something to look forward to everyday in October.

If you’re going to be joining NaNoWriMo this year — it also gives you a month of forcing yourself to write daily. That way when November comes, you’re already used to doing it! If you’re not sure what NaNoWriMo is, I will link it here!

OKAY GUYS. GUYS. GUYS! I like to be honest so I’m doing this in real time. I had NO IDEA NaNoWriMo shut down!???!??!? (I’m not on social media anymore so this is probably why I had zero clue. I am actually so fucking sad right now.)

Okay. Sooooo. There is no NaNoWriMo…

What is a writer to do!??

Alright… I will figure out something for myself. I want to still challenge myself to write a novel in 30 days regardless if NaNoWriMo is around or not. So, if you’d like to join me in that… please let me know!

I will be dropping a list of prompts in my Sunday’s Newsletter this week for Stacktober so stay tuned for that!

Remember… you’re a writer because you say you are. This is your chance to tap into your abilities.

I believe in you.

See you soon!
