A Quick Note of Gratitude & a Few Updates ✨
I just wanted to pop in and thank you all for being loyal readers. Even when I take breaks, you still have your inbox open to welcome a new post or newsletter when I come out of my writing slump and I appreciate you all.
It hasn’t been easy this year staying consistent with writing with all of the new changes and moves that have taken place in my life, but I am grateful to have readers who understand and stick with me anyway. So, I just wanted to thank you guys for being here!
250 people reading my work when it goes out is something I never thought would happen. On my old blogging platform — I had over 1k followers, but I knew for a fact not everyone was reading. Here? I know you guys are reading and listening — even if you don’t interact. I can see how many people opened the email that was sent out… It brings me joy, truly.
So thank you again!
Also really quick — the three projects I’m working on, Midnight Beach, Scandal in the Dark: Endgame, and Nolaverse have all been in the works and are coming out beautifully! I’m excited to launch Nolaverse and release the second and last part of Scandal. Midnight Beach is still an episodic series here on Substack! Next episode will be posted sometime this week. If you aren’t caught up I will link the last episode below. :)
I am also on a Facebook pause (I swear I might as well just delete it). So if you follow me on there and don’t see me there its because I’m not on there currently. I use my phone entirely too much. I thought I’d be able to handle having just ONE social media account, but somehow I found a way to doomscroll on there too! SADDDD lol. So, yeah I cut that out and will be gone for a while. I’m trying to use my devices less unless I’m writing. Other than that, I’m truly working on staying present in my life and off of my phone as much as possible.
