The Sin Between Us 🌑❤️🔥
Rain, Lace and Ruin 💦
A Forbidden Fever Dream Trilogy (Poems) 🔥
Some love isn’t meant to be touched.
& most desire doesn’t wait for permission.
This is for the moments that happen in the glances, the tension that brews like a storm in silence, and the kind of temptation that tastes like heaven—but feels like sin.
The Sin Between Us: Rain, Lace & Ruin is a poetic trilogy that explores forbidden love, unspoken temptation, and the aftermath of crossing lines that were never meant to blur.
P.S. I’ve got something brewing for summer—a little fever dream of a short story that brings these poems to life. Stay tuned, it’s about to get even hotterrrrr I promise!!
I. We Never Touched the Same
you were never mine
but God,
I prayed like you were
every time your eyes
met mine
across the room
full of people
who didn’t know
what we were hiding
your touch was a ghost
on my skin
long before you ever laid
a hand on me
and when you finally did—
when your lips found
the hollow of my neck,
it wasn’t a kiss
it was confession
we said nothing
but the silence screamed
I want you
so loud
I still hear it
in my dreams
they’ll never understand
how we drowned
in glances
how we made sin look sacred
how we made a moment
feel like a life
you left fingerprints
on my soul
in places
you never even touched
II. What I Shouldn’t Want
(his POV)
I see you
and suddenly,
I forget the life I built
before your eyes
looked into mine
and lit the match
you walk in
like you don’t belong to anyone
but I know better—
I know you’re claimed
by someone else’s name
but that’s never stopped
my thoughts from wandering
your smile
makes me ache
in places I didn’t know
could ache
you shift in your seat,
cross your legs,
bite your lip—
and I swear,
you do it for me
even if you don’t say it
I want to taste
what I’ve only imagined
touch what I’ve only dreamed
ruin what I can’t have
because every time you leave,
you take a piece of my control with you
this isn’t love—
not yet
but it’s something worse:
it’s knowing I’d burn my whole life down
just to see
how soft you’d look
beneath me
III. We Shouldn’t Be Here
your back is to me
but your scent is everywhere—
on the pillow,
in my lungs,
between my legs
where the ache still lingers
you haven’t said a word
and I’m too afraid to ask
if this was real
or just a moment
we let swallow us whole
my body’s still humming
from your hands
but my heart?
it’s doing math
trying to count the pieces
I left behind tonight
the sheets are still warm
with sin
and silence
and the kind of truth
we only speak
with our hips
I trace your shoulder
but pull my hand back—
what are we now
besides undone?
your voice finally breaks
the quiet:
“this changes everything.”
and I want to say
no, it doesn’t
but the taste of you
still on my lips
won’t let me lie
