Good afternoon, everyone!

We are welcoming not only a new week, but a new month come tomorrow. At this point, happy new year, LOL.

Sometimes, I don’t really have much to say — or anything new or inspiring to say on certain days. Today is one of those days.

It’s gloomy and rainy, my body feels heavy from all the good food from Thursday to today, and honestly? I’m just exhausted. The last two weeks were kind of rough and ran into each other. This week is all about resetting my energy and realigning with what I need to do to prep my mind for 2026. This month, although I will be partying with family and friends for my graduation on the 13th, I will be in my nest.

I turn into a hermit around this time of year because I am deeply focused on setting the tone for the upcoming year. Everything must align — my routines need to be set, my home needs to be decluttered, my mind needs to be calm, my energy needs to be at peace, and I can’t have anything or anyone disturbing that.

This month I hope you challenge yourself to reset EVERYTHING.

Close out your goals list — what did you accomplish, what didn’t you accomplish and why.

Create a new set of intentions and goals for the new year — not just what you want, but who you want to be and how you need to get there. What does the road map look like to the person you’re trying to embody next year? Start making changes today.

Reset your home — declutter and donate. There are things laying around your house right now that you absolutely do not need. Get your space together!

Clean out your digital space — emails, old text threads that you don’t need, downloads that are no longer needed, apps that you don’t use, screenshots and meaningless pictures that you don’t need, your social media DMs and posts that you want to archive. A great thing to do that I’m going to do this month is printing out pictures from this year, posting them in my memory journal, and writing about those times. I wanted to do it as the year went on, but I was so busy this year that I forgot to. So, I will be putting them together, printing them, and pasting them in my 2025 memory journal! This is a great way to start having physical archives instead of just digital ones. Bring your memories to life with getting physical copies of your moments from this year. :)

Deep clean your spaces — kitchen, bathroom, all cabinets and closets, your room, your patio/balcony or front and backyard. I’m sure if you have a garage it needs to reset — let’s make space to tackle that this month.

Make your appointments list — review the appointments you’ve had this year. Do you need to schedule any for 2026? Dentist, your annual, eye doctor, specialist, therapy, etc. Make your next appointment or appointments at some point this month. If you’re a parent, making appointments during spring break is usually the best time because the kids are out of school and you can get their appointments in without them missing class. It also gives you time to plan a PTO day or two around that time. Just a tip.

Review your planning system — do you need a new planner for the upcoming year? Search for a new one and get it set up before 2026. Do you need a new journal? Grab one! It doesn’t have to be expensive. Walmart and Dollar Tree have plenty.

Create a vision board — what do you want your 2026 to look like? Grab some images from Pinterest and put it together. Set it as your desktop background, print it out and put it above your desk, your bathroom mirror, or just somewhere you will see it everyday! I take my vision boards very seriously now since I did one for 2025, and my year was exactly how I wanted it to be. With a few hiccups of course because life loves to throw curve balls — but I really did set the tone for 2025 and I fucking crushed it. So, I’ll share mine below. Take your time on this… don’t rush through it. Go into it with a true intention of what you’re really visioning for the upcoming year.

So for me? I want to be rich in happiness and peace next year.

I’ll have a whole post coming this week on resetting your spiritual energy for the new year, so stay tuned on that!

Since I didn’t have a true newsletter for today, I will link a blog post I posted last week that I didn’t send out to your inboxes, so I’m assuming most of you have not read it. A great read for the new year that’s approaching.

notes on becoming the muse for your own life
2025 was a year of growth for me. I’ve learned so many things this year that pertain to my health, my mental well-being, the type of woman I aspire to be, the type of mother I aspire to be, the type of wife I aspire to be.

Have a great week everyone! See you soon. <3
